Cranberry Portage

Viking Lodge is owned and operated by Paul & Anita Wiens and Matthew & Sharnell Wiens. It has been in operation since the 1950's, and it is the largest fishing and hunting lodge in the Northwest division of Manitoba, Canada. It is a well established camp located at the headwaters of the Grass River system and the start of the Grass River Provincial Park.

Open concept design. Decorated for that cabin-feel with northern flora and fauna and artwork from local artists. House sleeps up to 6 in the 3 queen sized beds, however, we can provide extra service: queen sized air mattress or several single air mattresses in the house, or tents(s) with sleeping bags and air mattresses in the partially fenced backyard. Firewood bundles are available for extra too. 

Located on the East Arm of Athapapuskow lake, 1km away from the village of Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. Brian and Tammy purchased  the lodge in 2011.  For the past years, the lodge has been undergoing renovation to provide guests with the comfort and relaxation one should expect on their vacation in beautiful northern Manitoba.
